It’s that tv setting mainly used for sports. I forgot what it’s called though. You have to change it in your TV settings

The setting is generally called “motion smoothing.” This video explains it better than I can.

I changed it to film maker mode as suggested in the video. It made no difference.

You talking about the motion smoothing effect? All TV’s come with it enabled. First thing that needs to be turned off.

Sorry, I should have been clearer - the image is sped up. I turned off the motion smoothing.

I had some flickering issues on a new tv and it turned out to be the HDMI cable, upgraded to a Belkin Ultra High Speed HDMI and all is well.
