Again: I get what you’re saying. And again: I do nominally agree.

What I’m saying is that you’re looking at the trumpians/maga/proud boys/3%ers as “weird republicans”. They’re not. You need to be looking at them as NSDAP/Nazis/Sturmabteilung. Because that’s what they are. And the want to kill a whole fucking lot of us, because it gives them a hard-on.

Moreover, I’m not saying that we should be conducting overt, systemic political violence now, but I AM saying that we need to be fully prepared for that eventuality. And to that end, we should be looking to the Maquis, as well as the Polish + German resistance throughout WW2.

Hey, don’t get me wrong - I get what you’re saying, and nominally I wholeheartedly agree. I just ALSO feel that there’s a single, very specific exception: when a political movement inherently involves political violence (that is: fascism), this rule absolutely does not apply.

If you think non-fascists being civil and respectful to fascist is going to give fascists even a fraction of a second of pause before they do shitty things, my only possible conclusion is that you’re painfully naïve and also that you don’t actually understand what fascism is.

You’re not comfortable using a tactic these chucklefucks use aggressively against us?

You’re as bad as DNC leadership, tbh. This “they go low we go high” idiocy got us where we are. Stop bringing a fucking deck of cards to a gunfight.

Do not lean into the paradox of tolerance. Intolerant views must not be tolerated. It’s always a good day to punch (or dox, or harass, or share their extremist views to their employer or…) a Nazi.

Yeah it’s the only one on the street that has that because he paid Google to do it… so it makes it REAL obvious 😂

The (infuriating, I absolutely agree) choice was “Gaza in rubble”, or “Gaza AND the West Bank AND wherever else Israel feels like annexing (probably a good chunk of Lebanon) in rubble, and the possibility of open war with Iran”.

Glad you got what you thought you wanted, I guess.

Hey, Arab American Trump voters:

WE FUCKING TOLD YOU SO. YOU FUCKING IMBECILES.

I really don’t think the DNC should be considered a viable party anymore. I’m betting Sanders and other progressives are working on the foundations of a new one. If they are, and it works, I’m going to register for a political affiliation for the first time in almost a decade and a half.

Uh, North Korea is very much not a communist country. It’s a totalitarian state whose name says they’re a “democratic republic”, and whose leadership claim is a flavor of communism, but it is absolutely nothing of the sort.

Edit: yeah whoops, I munged the semantics of your comment

I mean… her story about what happened on J6 is frankly pretty fucking harrowing. Don’t get me wrong - being a Bronx bartender as a young, attractive woman must be pretty damn sketchy at times, but as a singular event, especially after becoming an extremely well known and (depending on political affiliation) adored/reviled politician, I daresay this might take the cake.

And I don’t mean to diminish her past experience of assault by saying that either. All I mean is that a relatively sudden, unexpected assault, while traumatic, has a much different mental context than knowing “there’s a group of people who have HATED me for my entire term, and they’ve broken in, and the don’t just want to relish in their power over me if they catch me, but they will want to torment me as long as possible, and they will definitely kill me, and it won’t be quick”.

Fuck, dude. That sucks.

I’ve had to go through that, and it’s awful. Just try to remember: you love your pup and made her whole life better, and she loves the fuck out of you for it. Not letting her linger and suffer, while tragic, is simply a final - albeit deeply bittersweet - act of fundamental love.

I want that timeline. Can we please have that timeline?

Edit: lol yeah, I deserve this, I teed it up rather magnificently.

👀Russian D-30 howitzer with anti-drone screen and dynamic tank protection. Dynamic protection, in essence, is blocks of plastic that explode towards the cumulative stream of anti-tank ammunition and deflect it to the side. Placing this protection on anything other than the powerful armor of a tank is fraught with even greater damage to the “protected” object. Published by Balu.

Personal commentary: reading the summary (I did not watch the interview live), I’m not really seeing anything that assuages my concerns about his mental acuity. More importantly, I’m not seeing anything that indicates he’s being anything even close to as pragmatic as Macron is being with the election they’re doing now in France, with regards to just trying to make sure the fascists do not fucking win. I must admit I’m feeling quite pessimistic about things.

Surprisingly based from ND, to be completely honest

Also available with a roasted crab, which is what they’re famous for, but this version is still delicious, because those noodles are straight crack
