I'm oll for the destruction / reorganisation of Western civilization but not at the hands of the Chinese because I don't think they'll do much to improve things.

Yeah but why you even using AI for stuff like that? If we got to have AI then we should use it for actually useful stuff and not pointless activities that no one will care about in 10 years.

Remember when Bluetooth came out and they had to stick Bluetooth in everything, even if it was completely pointless, currently AI is being treated like that.

Fix a spelling error, but that broke the compiler so reverted the change and now it's still broken. Please merge.

My personal favorite is when it complains about a missing semicolon. So it's 100% knows what the problem is, it knows where the problem is, and it knows how to fix it. But it's not going to fix it out of spite.

Right but capitalists understand people don't actually want to watch ads so they know there's another limit to how long they can be.

At one point there was a period of time where YouTube was consistently serving me ads in Arabic, a language that I don't speak and from a country I have never been to.

Their algorithm just breaks sometimes.

Edit: not sure why that was in capitals.

You need to get sponsor block. Not only does it block all the sponsor segments because they are also ads, that the ad blockers don't otherwise block, but they also block all of the other annoyances, like instructions to subscribe and intro animations.

I doubt it's the same thing exactly but when I worked in marketing you had to do the same kind of thing. Even if you felt terrible and really didn't feel like talking to anyone you have to play a role and be exciting and energetic.

Mitigated somewhat in Europe though because you can't buy the cyber truck there anyway because the thing is a death trap, both to its occupants, and everyone in the surrounding area.

Yes healthcare is paid for via taxes so it isn't strictly speaking isn't free, but it also isn't the same as paying for health insurance. For one thing you don't pay more money just because you've got a Pre-Existing medical condition. In a way everyone pays less because all of the people that would otherwise pay for private healthcare, still pay the taxes, so everyone else is being subsidized by the rich, who in the US wouldn't contribute to anyone else's healthcare.

I don't think anyone ends up paying more in taxes than they would if we operated under the US private health care system.

So while your point is strictly speaking true, it's also a bit pedantic.

I think it's because they've started designing games that use PS5 as the minimum standard for hardware requirements.

I don't mind about Ray tracing being a requirement in theory I just think that they're doing it about 5 years too early. If they just waited until Real-Time Ray tracing had been around long enough that some cards had hit the second hand market it wouldn't be so bad

I think we auto block emails with more than 50 recipients. The only exception I think is the union who are allowed to email as many people as they like since they complained.
