Plus it’s probably more complex to engineer multi-colour (well, two colour) font rendering onto the video. Getting the background brightness for each character is as simple as adding all the pixel rgb values together and threshold in. It doesn’t need to be very accurate.

Nice to know. It was the sites “e.g.” number under the input field so I just copied and pasted.
Yeah, I’m in the uk and it was the default cc. I entered a us fictitious number, which gave that error. No variations of uk numbers, with or without the international prefix would work either. This was just the funniest of the validation errors.
And if it can validate international numbers, why ask for the country code separately?
Also en-dash for separating two numbers when indicating a range. I have AHK shortcuts for them both :).
The paper mentioned how the images were processed (chopping 10% off some to remove name, age, etc). But all were from the same centre and only pixel data was used. Given the other work referenced on retinal thinning in ASD disorders, maybe it is a relatively simple task for this kind of model. But they do say using multi-centre images will be an important part of the validation. It’s quite possible the performance would drop away when differences in camera, etc. are factored in.
I just moved from windows to Linux desktop and was really missing Everything. Really glad I found this.
Edit: I don’t use Wine, so I don’t know if this will actually solve your problem. But on a regular windows machine, this is a must.

This was demoed by Tesla 10 years ago, and offered as a service for a year or so before being abandoned in 2016, apparently due to lack of demand. Guess the landscape may be different now, but single vendor systems are likely still quite a problem.
