I wanted an Apple Watch and AirDrop with my Mac is handy.

I have two official bands and a bunch of knockoff sport loops because Apple gave up on making ones that look nice, so it's not a big deal to me if they change the connector. I'm not planning on upgrading from my Series 7 for a couple more years anyway, so it's not like I'd have to get rid of my bands in the first place.

The Mail app is pretty bad with Gmail (really slow to receive new mail), I'd recommend using something like Spark instead.

Yup. It tracks my workouts, plays my podcasts, lets me set timers and silent alarms, and tells me the time.

And? People make bad decisions all the time. Lots of people still don't use 2FA and then they whine when they lose their accounts. Sometimes security is worth a little bit of annoyance.

Just because it worked that way doesn't mean it's not a potential security flaw.

Spark for email, because the stock email app doesn't seem to play nice with Gmail.

Google Maps for cycling directions because Apple doesn't offer cycling directions where I live, and sometimes for driving directions because occasionally places I want to go don't exist in Apple Maps.

Overcast for podcasts because I find it to be a better experience in pretty much every way.

A local weather app because Apple's Weather is basically a coin toss where I live.

The battery life has been a bit all-over-the-place lately but other than that, I've greatly enjoyed the WatchOS 10 update. I actually hated the swipe-to-change-face thing because I often found i had accidentally changed my watch face with my sleeve or when I cross my arms etc.

If you really miss it though, the next update (I think out this week or next) will supposedly add the ability to swipe between faces without needing to long press first as an option.

I have three. One Casetify one (really nice but can be bulky at times), a super cheap green one off AliExpress that I bought becuase it had magsafe and I liked the colour, and a cheap soft plastic clear case that just feels nice.

I've never had more than one case for a phone before (most phones I had never even got a case in the first place).

I bought a Casetify case (on sale though, I probably wouldn't have paid full price for it).

It's a nice case and has a design I liked from an artist I've followed for a while, plus it feels pretty solid and has withstood a couple of nasty drops pretty well.

It's just over a year later and the case is still holding up really well, although my wife's case (different design but also Casetify) fell apart after about 8 months.

I like the case I have from them but given what happened to my wife's one, I probably wouldn't buy from them again. My wife now has Spigen case that was cheaper but feels about as nice as the Casetify, but just looks a lot more generic.

I wanted an Apple Watch. Whatever option that fits under.
