Absolutely. It's a two way street here.

People need to stop turning on each other though. What's done is done. The left has always been divided but right now we really need to start pulling ourselves together.

One of my friends had some rough experiences in some communities after it. I'd have to dig up the screenshots but it was atrocious. She's not even American but she flat out said it made her want to take a break from online for a while.

I've never seen anything like it considering the game we play together tends to have a more progressive and welcoming community that lashes out against open misconduct like that.

Seeing Walz as her VP pick was such a win and then everything started slipping away. If you listened to her speeches you'd start to notice she was slowly leaning more conservative, slowly backpedaling on a lot of Biden admin policies even. And for some reason she was absolutely obsessed with going on right wing media outlets.

I genuinely think she's rather well spoken but what a waste of potential.

I'm sorry we failed you Bernie.

Oh yeah I don't disagree about that. I'm the black sheep of my family in that regard. Even my Gen X siblings are Trumpers sadly.

I was just more so pointing out that I wasn't entirely sure if the younger two generations were actually serious. I know how social media is. Someone posting about something is not the same as someone taking action so I get anxious about whether or not people will actually make good on their statements.

We'll see how it goes.

One of my initial fears regarding the initial hype phase of Kamala taking the candidacy was that the media hype would wear off and that we'd have a lot of no shows at the polls who only posted about it on their socials because it was trending. I don't really trust my generation or the zoomers to get out there and vote, but I hope I'm proven wrong.

Unless you live in the deep south where half the women support him despite how it's essentially self-hatred.

My parents constantly complain about how I don't date people native to our state/general location. I think the last time I actually dated people who had roots here was 8 years ago in university prior to politics being ruined by Trump.

Easy. Anywhere the white cells touch will form a curve if you're not looking at them directly.

Bernie is such a good guy. The Dems have done him dirty so many times, they are currently continuing to support many harmful policies but he understands what's at stake and he puts all of that aside to do the best he can.

He doesn't have to do this. He's 83 years old and while his cognitive health is outstanding for his age, someone his age doesn't need to be on this grind for us. He probably won't stop until he's forced to due to his health. I love the guy and it's a shame we weren't given the chance to see him take the presidency.

The whales wouldn't complain about this one anyways. When this mount was available in-game on the auction house it was probably around 5x the price in USD assuming you bought wow tokens.

Maybe.

Millennials, zoomers and even gen alpha likely won't be much different. There's a difference between understanding how to use technology and understanding the intricacies of technology, understanding how to regulate or use different functions of it. The majority of boomers know how to use a modern phone. They don't know how to properly take care of the phone nor do they understand how it functions, but they know how to use it. A lot of younger people aren't much different.

I've heard people are starting to do this on TikTok as well. I think it says more about us a civilization than anything. This is a clear scarcity/enshittification issue. Everyone wants good value and good quality products. Unfortunately a lot of mom/pop shops that produce those products don't want to expand and if they do end up franchised capitalism's ever growing desire for increased gains ensures that the franchised products only become worse over time.

It's a clear shame to see capitalism pitting people against each other in this fashion.
