Beaten by thirteen minutes! 😆 Considering this never had a Blu-ray release, I may have to pick this one up.

My favourite part of Morbius, and I haven't actually seen the film, was revealed on the Corridor Crew's VFX Artist's React. Some poor VFX bloke had modelled a construction site or underground site with a lot of detail. Then, when the scene was lit, it was made so dark, you couldn't see any of the work that had been done.

I think it's safe to say the majority of the time, it will be the same disc with cheaper packaging. With 4K being niche, I can't imagine that the studios would want to spend the money pressing a new version of the film.

The problem is that nearly all games need huge patches after launch, and so it makes physical collecting a bit pointless these days.

In terms of Switch games, several publishers have deliberately being using smaller carts (to save money) and you have to download the rest of the game when you get home with your purchase. I remember the guys who ported Diablo III were proud of the fact the entire games was on the cartridge upon launch.

I don't consider publicity stills printed onto postcards as something worth paying extra money for. "Art cards" indeed!

There seems to be a trend of charging an extra £10 or so because they've filled the box with extra items which are just paper related.

I still haven't seen part 2 yet but I bought both in 4k from a black Friday sale. These comments are encouraging. ☺️

Well, I really enjoyed the first two episodes. It definitely has that Spielberg/Goonies vibe, but My wife and I are really enjoying it. I'm still not entirely sold on the fact that the Star Wars universe has suburbs, doesn't feel quite right to me.

That was the reason I stopped watching Acolyte. One episode was just about the Jedi walking through a forest to a house. It didn't need to be that long.

Oh man, I love (some) of the Batmobiles. In terms of LEGO, I have several.

My first was a LEPIN (knock off LEGO) version of the Tumbler, as seen in OP's post. Then I purchased a knock off 89 Burton Batmobile.

Then I started buying official versions. I have 89 Batmobile, the second version of the Tumbler, and finally, the one from The Batman. These are the mini-fig scale versions, I have no room for the beautiful collector series models.

I also had a knock off Bat-Pod which was a copy of the model that was given away to purchasers of the big Tumbler model when it was first launched. But I lost a lot of bits and I replaced it with this newer edition.

I'll probably watch this, more as a fan of Love, Death & Robots than the games represented here. In fact, there are only a couple of games I actually know, so I hope the stories still make sense. (Sorry, I'm old. LOL)

I know Godzilla Minus One is a new release, but it's a bare bones disc for £29! If you want the special features, it looks like you need the special edition for £66. Ouch.

I remember being quite taken aback when the live action segments appeared. Really wasn't expecting that from a Pixar film.

I never realised this film started out to be a Disney+ series. Reminds me of Toy Story 2 which was originally going to be straight to video sequel.

I like the sound of this.

The story follows a disgraced former astronaut hired to take a submersible to the deepest part of the ocean to explore a newly discovered trench. Supernatural events transpire as the vehicle gets closer to its destination and he is confronted by a sinister and dangerous force.

While investigating the history of a newly discovered ancient artifact, a renowned archaeologist (Jackie Chan) unwittingly establishes a mystical connection with a heroic Han dynasty general, blurring the lines between past and present right as the general prepares to wage war against the brutal Hun army.

Featuring a de-aged Jackie Chan!

Writer-director Jim Abrahams, who co-wrote and co-directed some of the most iconic comedy films of the 1980s including “The Naked Gun” and “Airplane!” (aka. “Flying High”), has died. He was 80. Abrahams died of natural causes at his home in Santa Monica according to his son Joseph in a statement issued to THR. Together with […]

“The Scarlet Drop,” a work of legendary six-time Oscar-winning American filmmaker John Ford, has been found nearly in its entirety after being lost for over a century reports The National News.

The 1918 film follows Harry ‘Kaintuck’ Ridge (Harry Carey) who skips out on the American Civil War to join a gang of marauders and at the end of the war finds himself a fugitive.

Going west, he becomes a bandit and ends up winning the love of a woman he has taken captive after holding up a stage coach.

It was one of 26 westerns Ford made with Carey, the most prolific partnership of Ford’s career even as his work with John Wayne remains his most famous partnership. Ford’s career ultimately spanned over 130 films and more than 50 years from 1917-1970.

Until this discovery, only about 30 minutes of footage from the film existed in the Getty Archive with no full cut thought to remain intact.

The movie was rediscovered by the owner of a warehouse in Santiago, Chile just one day before it was set to be demolished. Going through the building’s contents, the owner discovered a trove of films once owned by a local collector and left untouched for forty years after his death.

The owner contacted a film academic and film festival director who rescued the films from being discarded. It was digitised but is still in need of a full restoration and there are still some “missing partial aspects of the film”.

Plans for a wider release of the film have not been announced.

Stahelski says:

“We’re bringing it forward from the early 1500s in the highlands to the beyond present-day New York and Hong Kong, and seeing how it goes. There’s big opportunity for action.

There’s a chance to play a character that not a lot of people get to play. And it’s a bit of a love story, but not how you think. On ‘John Wick,’ I learned a lot on how to bend the storytelling a little… another kind of myth.”

Stahelski then goes on to explain how he pitched the project to Cavill and the uniqueness of the role being one of its draws:

“My selling point was, to [Henry Cavill], look, you’ve got a guy that’s been alive for over 500 years. He’s the last person in the world that wanted to be in this situation. So you get to cover quite a broad spread of a character arc there. And you get to experience someone that’s trained over 500 years and sort of played [with many types of] martial arts.”

People still continue to buy the Bose TV Speaker even after we made a dedicated video on it…. To get you to stop, we took to facebook marketplace and gave ourselves the SAME budget and managed to buy a 5.1 surround sound setup with dedicated receivers!

Considering this is the home video section, I thought this would apply to this community. Reminds me of when I had my tiny dirt cheap 5.1 system, which sounded great to me. Especially when playing Bad Company 2 on my Xbox360.

Why?

Empire has recently shared a new picture from the upcoming Tron: Ares that teases more of Jared Leto’s character — the titular Ares. Additionally, Rønning has also explained more about his intended heavier score with Nine Inch Nails, saying, “With Nine Inch Nails making the music, this installment will be a little grittier, a little bit more industrial. It’s been important for me to contrast The Grid and the real world. In that sense, Nine Inch Nails lends itself perfectly into this new Tron world that we are creating.”

He also explains that the darker tone of the music will not necessarily mean the tone of this entry will be more melancholy, but there will also be some heart and human spirit emanating from the soundtrack. Rønning expounded, “What I always look for in any story is a strong emotional core. This film will probably be more emotional than people are expecting. It’s about the cost of being human.”

Tron: Ares “follows a highly sophisticated Program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings.” The film stars Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, and Gillian Anderson.
