I love Firefox but man the community needs to centralize on a fork

very similar to the game Celeste which was made by a questioning/closeted trans person, so the whole game pretty much follows the trans experience. The creator actually confirmed canonically that the character (Madeline) is trans too.

"During Celeste’s development, I did not know that Madeline or myself were trans. During the Farewell DLC’s development, I began to form a hunch. Post-development, I now know that we both are."

AAGH MY HEART 😭😭

edit: bonus round! the music composer is also trans, she also makes some of the music for Minecraft, including pigstep.

I love that my cat isn't like this, she'll come right up for anything, lest I keep rolling over and shes tired of hopping on and off the bed so she just sits at the end lol

Wish there was an archival program with like government level funding or something thats immune to DMCA, because everythings being lost so fast. History is very important!

iirc the owner was a mod of a Linux sub and banned people for saying mods were corrupt. Aka what has happened at least once on 50% of reddit subs.

I hate when projects don't explain what they actually do. Explain what it does like you would to a 5 year old, "targeting personal computing, simple to use yet extremely powerful" comes off as buzzwords that just annoy me. That doesn't explain why it's useful.

I am a library aid for my highschool, these books were once taken off the shelves and legally banned.

However due to many authors and publishers threatening to sue (and some actually following through), 36 of the 176 books banned have returned.

Hope it continues. And sorry if this breaks the politics rule even if it doesn't show a politician.
