I’m proud of you for cleaning your room. It can be so easy to just let the filth continue and the longer you let it go, the harder it can get. Nicely done.

I mean, tons and tons of people do. The women in my life certainly do.

From his Wikipedia page, some selected excerpts:

Thompson joined UnitedHealth Group in 2004 and was named CEO of UnitedHealthcare government programs that included Medicare and retirement, and community and state divisions in 2021. Under his leadership profits at UHC went from $12 billion in 2021 to $16 billion in 2023.

The investigation revealed that in 2019, UHC's prior authorization denial rate was 8.7%. Thompson became CEO in 2021, and by 2022 the rate of denial had increased to 22.7%. For both Medicare and non-Medicare claims, UHC declines at a rate double the industry average.

A lawsuit was filed against Thompson, UnitedHealth chairman Stephen J. Hemsley and two other senior executives in May 2024 for alleged fraud and insider trading due to failing to disclose an antitrust investigation into the company by the United States Department of Justice and by selling stock options before the probe was made public.

I’m dumb as hell but was curious what it said. I asked ChatGPT, so feel free to correct:

The abbreviation "A·I·TR" on the Roman auxiliary cavalry standard can be interpreted as follows:

  1. A: Likely stands for Ala, which refers to a Roman auxiliary cavalry unit.
  2. I: Stands for Prima (first), indicating the unit's numerical designation as the First Ala.
  3. TR: Likely stands for Thracia (Thracian), indicating the origin of the unit or its cultural composition.

Thus, "A·I·TR" likely translates to "Ala Prima Thracum," meaning "First Thracian Cavalry Unit." This would have been a Roman auxiliary cavalry regiment recruited primarily from Thracians, a group known for their equestrian skills.

When they won’t get their dicks out of their hands in formation, it’s very distracting for others.

Very interesting. I wish the story told more.

South Korean police have arrested a CEO and five employees for manufacturing over 240,000 satellite receivers pre-loaded or later updated to include DDoS attack functionality at a purchaser's request.

While neither company has been named, the two companies have been trading since 2017. In November 2018, the purchasing company made a special request to include DDoS functionality, with the South Korean manufacturer complying.

Allegedly, the functionality was needed to counter the attacks of a competing entity.

I like the trees in the background.

R2? Is that you?

It was excellent with a side of Kickin’ Ranch

Well insurance will only pay for it if it’s approved. I’ve had an issue where I hit my out of pocket max, so everything was free, but they denied my refill of zofran entirely. Could be something similar where they won’t pay for the treatment he wants to receive.

Kinda wild. I’ve used chatGPT a lot and never had it just flat out refuse. Even saying this persons names prevents it from responding.

Please sir, may I have some more pixels please?

I went to a hospital recently to visit a friend and needed to buy lunch while I was there. I purchased a premade chicken Caesar salad in a package for $7.50.

I walk back to where I’m staying and realize the salad has everything except the dressing. It’s literally lettuce, chicken, croutons, and a bit of cheese.

I say fuck this because it’s hardly even a Caesar salad at this point, and I go back to buy something else. That’s when I realize, they do have dressing, but it’s sold separately and it’s a fucking $1.00.

A big deal? No. Infuriating? YES.

I saw another 2000 song posted and the op wasn’t immediately killed. It’s a bop though.

Think of all the things you could put in those numerous tiny pockets.

For anyone who doesn’t “get it”, I’m not promising this series will make sense or even be funny. Garfield without Garfield is amusing (sometimes), so I wondered about Calvin and Hobbes, but how it might be in reality. Hobbes will only ever appear as a stuffed animal and will not be mentioned by name.

I'm working through “Homicidal Psycho Jungle Cat” and will be including the page number in the title (at least until I get bored of this).

You can find the full book in PDF form here: https://ia801007.us.archive.org/1/items/3.yukonho/9.%20Homicidal%20Psycho%20Jungle%20Cat.pdf

The page numbers I'm using as reference don't quite line up because I'm using a physical book as reference, but it's pretty close.

Hope you...enjoy?

You’re H.S. Too, so don’t forget it!

I find these videos super interesting and cool to watch and this is the best/longest of all the ones I've ever seen. Hope you enjoy it too

They build a 25 meter tall tower out of wooden sticks over the course of four days and then make it all collapse. I thought it was pretty cool.

Of course we all know that gmers are ruining society and our children and well pretty much anything they touch (grass seems to be safe though LOL). But why don't more people understand and support our cause? You may not be aware (god bless you if you are) of a series of gmes called "diablos". The newest in the series came out recently and people can't stop talking about it. They are literally teaching our children to devil worship and no one seems to care.

To make things more concerning, the first "season" of diablos 4 is supposed to start on July 20th. I'm not even sure what that means, but it sounds terrifying. I wonder if the trees will somehow turn satanic or maybe something with the water. Anyone have any predictions about what this means for us god fearing folk?

god bless

I wanted to make this community to carry on the good work that the other community was doing over on r*ddit before the takeover by sinister lizard overlords.

Anyway, have you seen any new g*mes that are particularly concerning to you? I saw one posted on my church group's facebook that I find pretty concerning. Be careful, this is NSFC (not safe for christ): https://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-5/story-of-seasons-a-wonderful-life

In case you don't want to hurt your eyes with this satanic nonsense, let me give you the bullet points (I'm gods warrior, so I've got this).

  • it has a score of 69 and I think we all know the satanic hidden meaning there. I don't want to discuss this further.
  • this gme takes place in "forgotten valley" which is clearly a reference to the bible and how gmers want our children to forget the teachings of Christ and instead spend time playing these terrible g*mes that teach them satanic values instead. (https://www.bible.com/bible/1/PSA.23.KJV)
  • you run a farm which is obviously an attempt to get our children to learn unholy knowledge about witchcraft.

There's so much more, but I could only read that filth for so long. Anyway, welcome to the community!
