was actually the title of the game, the quote has always stuck with me as I think at the time it freaked me out a bit, as did the game .. nearly all of humanity is dead in a dystopian future but the overlord dude has kept just 5 souls alive to torture continually.
I’m reasonably sure you couldn’t ‘win’ the game, or ‘escape’ but I did get my character to smile once, (by killing their dog) which seemed to piss off the bad guys quite a bit.
