There's a quote from Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders that has stuck with me ever since I heard it. For those that have never played, one of the campaigns features a character named Kendal. In the opening scene of his campaign one of his companions gives him something and asks "What should we do?" The reply is a simple "keep moving." I think about this moment a lot when I am uncertain about things. Anyone else have a similar thing?

“I have no mouth, and I must scream’ (1995)

  • was actually the title of the game, the quote has always stuck with me as I think at the time it freaked me out a bit, as did the game .. nearly all of humanity is dead in a dystopian future but the overlord dude has kept just 5 souls alive to torture continually.

I’m reasonably sure you couldn’t ‘win’ the game, or ‘escape’ but I did get my character to smile once, (by killing their dog) which seemed to piss off the bad guys quite a bit.
