Aldi has them and nobody cares. In fact Aldi cashiers are legendarily fast. Probably some control freak shit from the C suite.

I don't think you should be able to drive a motorcycle without a license (which should require taking a course and exam). They hit 140+mph and cannot brake as quickly as cars. Without knowing how to ride and to follow rules of the road, they are a life-threatening danger to other people.
So if bicycle = moped and moped = motorcycle, ebikes are capable of highway speeds. Do you think they should require driver's licenses?

I know it's not your main point but I think this is a bad argument against veganism. Yes it's hard not to eat flesh in a flesh-eating society. How else are we supposed to build a society that allows people to be vegan? Even under socialism, governments won't ban slaughterhouses or whatever without a movement asking them to. The presence of just a few resolute vegans allows other people the social space to do the same thing. One vegan goes hungry at the pizza party. If you have three, maybe you order falafel instead.
the apps are such shit. probably two thirds of the profiles I see are just women trying to get followers for their instagram. then there's the snapchat in bio scammers, the sex workers with a location 1000 miles away. Plus the godawful gender ratio and it's just a horrible demoralizing experience
I still do it though, I have one (1) semi-regular FWB I met on an app so I guess it's worth it? :/
