We've had weeks of 33°C (90's for us Yanks)

It's been brutal.

More of the garden's state

"Late blight" possibly.

This is not a criticism , but they seem crowded, we all work with the space we have. Also, have you planted tomatoes in that spot before? That can cause issues too.

Don't over water, let them dry out a bit, remove the dying plants asap, use a copper fungicide, and next year replace a lot of the soil if you have to plant in the same spot. If you can, rotate your crops every year.

Roma, beefsteak and cherry. Pretty simple this year, but I have 22 tomatoes plants this year, all started from seed.

Pretty much. It keeps everything larger than a chipmunk out. Sometimes, a chicken jumps in.

Yes, it's a picture of the patch of milkweed that we grow for the monarch butterflies.

...because it does. It really does.

For the price, yes.

Buying enough of these to make a difference would be so expensive.

1.675 billion plus 325 million equals the 2 billion amount Cumins is paying.

Your comment reads like you think Cumins is being paid.

Just finished a maple Thanksgiving themed bowl - 10" x 4" (26 cm x 10 cm)

Painted with chalk paint and then aged with colored wax. Inside is finished with Tung oil.

Album

At Providence Flea today on a rainy Sunday. Come check out the 80+ vendors, including ME!

Album

Finished with chalk paint and wax on the outsode, shellac and boiled linseed oil on the inside, this oak bowl with a rim of sycamore and walnut really pissed me off when it flew off the lathe while I was finishing the bottom and it had to be redone.

Album

Album

I'm starting to use some of the walnut blanks I got a few weeks back. This one is almost 14 inches in diameter and has a rim of segmented walnut with inlays of cherry. It's finished with a friction polish of boiled linseed oil and natural shellac.

Some oak, some maple, three large, two small.

Album

Album

It's 5" by 3.5 " / 13.5 cm by 8 cm

The little painted box is a rescue. It's much shinier now. A few others are refurbishments for people. A few are brand new.

Album

I had no idea how beautiful this wood is or how expensive !

Album

This one is 7x4 inches, has a padauk and hard cherry ring and the voids have been filled with sunset tinted resin.

Album

It's 9.5" / we 5 cm in diameter. The pattern of maple leaves is burned into the wood.
