I actually beat the game once. But I don't get the hype around it. I know there are like 9 endings but I wasn't impressed enough to play through again.

No intelligent aliens. Lots of alien wildlife.
Nioh 2. I think I got Nioh for free at some point after Nioh 2 had already released. After 50 hours into it I purchased the sequel because it was so good. After 120 hours I still hadn't finished the game because I'm a completionist and have to do all the side quests. Then something else came out that I wanted to play so I took a break. That was a couple years ago and I just haven't felt like relearning it. It didn't help that the mouse and keyboard controls were terrible, but I can't play third or first person games with a controller. Wo Long was the latest game by the dev that I tried and it also suffered from terrible controls and I gave up on it after 10 hours.
I finished my 170+ hours playthrough of Starfield over the weekend. I have put over 60 hours into Death Must Die since it launched. I put 120+ hours into Remnant 2 at launch. Waiting for work to calm down before I jump back in to the DLC. I also log in and play a few matches of Backpack Battles every night. I have a couple hundred hours in it now.
Cocoon. 8.5/10. Visually stunning. Very creative. Would have benefited from more puzzle variety. They were all pretty samey with just a slight twist.
