I imagine the details will remain withheld, so I am just thankful the boys made time to share their feelings and help us process the shock too. I’m sure they’ll make space in their streams to talk it over with us soon as well. Sad stuff, and so unusual for it to be so sudden without any graduation period.

FFXIV can be played with just a mouse. Free to level 60 (mmo)RPG with good story telling. But using the mouse in your left hand might feel strange tbf.

A mastodon DM is a private post. Setting a post to private before sending means only mentioned accounts can see it, and all mentioned accounts get notified. In a sense this enables both DMs and group messages too. But it’s not the most elegant interface for it tbf. A good app makes this feel more DM like, such as Ice Cubes on iOS or the equivalent on Android.
Sincere condolences to all the Magmites and Vesties who held these two as their oshis. Losing a parasocial connection is a real and valid sense of loss, and a sobering reminder of how temporary things can be.
