Why does it seem most people, mainly conservatives, against Trans people? Unless I am wrong I never heard of one shooting up a school church or whatever. The ones I have met have been pretty cool. in c/nostupidquestions@lemmy.world

I am someone who wouldn't give "T people" rights the time of day. It's absurd. If they're American, and a legal citizen, then they have the same rights as me. I don't have the time or patience to focus on a group that makes up a fraction of a fraction of a percent of the population. We have real problems.

It seems that the MAGA movement is earily similar to what I learned about the Nazis before Hitler took office? Like blind obedience and hatred toward certain groups? Or am I wrong? Why? in c/askhistorians@lemmy.world

I don't, but I've chosen not to. There are plenty of problems in my own country, let alone one half way across the world.
