Things are so tight that 1 streaming service would be an irresponsible expense for me. $15/month for an expense that can be circumvented if you're smart, its a no brainer. I feel like society has done more harm to me than any amount of piracy will ever do to them. Where are all these high paying jobs I was promised I could have if I got a degree, huh? I'm worse off now than before I made the decision to go to school. It's pirated or nothing for me but it's also more convenient. That enshittified corporate ui shit is slow.

Part of the reason I went to school for computer engineering is just so when people try to argue stupid bullshit like leaving your router plugged in will start a fire, hopefully they'll recognize that im qualified enough to know better and fuck off.

Well I wasn't planning on playing GTA 5 but now I guess it'll have to be pirated GTA 5 only so I can play a pre-anticheat version. It sucks that GTA is a game where all the mod developers try hard to make their stuff not work on pirated versions. Guess I'll be avoiding that entire toxic community as a whole. The internet has slowly become more and more useless over time since the pandemic. It's fucking impossible to find anything now. Half the time it's like I have better luck doing an lan search on my home network than looking it up on Google and I'm not even very deep into the self hosted everything rabbit hole.
