I ran it on a Ras Pi 3B+ and it did ok with 1080p and below. There were a few movies that had stuttering issues, so I'm guessing the Pi's better with some codecs than others.

Good news!(if you live in the US) But there's already opposition to the program, plus it's on the actual states to join(and we saw how that went with the Affordable Care Act).

I've grown to like watching Dennis Quaid onscreen. It's not that he's an especially good actor, he just gives me that 80's nostalgia vibe. The cocaine story is peak 80s.

I don't really have any suggestions, but I can say that your Weekly Discussion is hugely successful in getting people to post. As you can see, you get way more engagement in the weekly thread than from regular Posts in the community.

Like most people, I don't post or comment much because I hate all the negative responses you get on Lemmy (and anywhere, for that matter), but I'll try to be more active.

The Trump campaign had a seven-state scheme to subvert the Electoral College process after he lost the 2020 election.
State prosecutors in Michigan, Georgia and Nevada have now charged at least some of the fake electors in their states. Investigations are still underway in Arizona and Wisconsin. Prosecutors in New Mexico and Pennsylvania have declined to bring charges.

If you're going to commit election fraud, I guess NM and PA are the states to do it in. You'll probably get caught, but you won't be prosecuted. Might as well try - you miss all the shots you don't take.
