Devil May Cry V

It was really solid until the game forced me to switch characters. V is the least fun I've ever had playing a character in a DMC game.

See my post above, absolutely phenomenal game and one of my favorites despite gaming since the NES came out as a kid.

Hunt: Showdown

Got into my first online shooter during Covid, prior to which I had just split from my wife, for the social aspect. I always pick the hardest games, don't ask me why. Stuck with it ever since and have several teams of people that are cool as hell.

Returnal

Just an utterly sublime video game in every aspect. It's also very "mature" theme-wise and its overall sense of overwhelming loss yet insanely addictive gameplay-first focus still makes me come back today.
