I've never seen them able to justify it, they usually don't understand the history behind the Khmer Rouge and the Vietnam war. Vietnam was literally the only just actor in the whole history of those conflicts.

Yes, but China took it way too far. China sided with the USA and armed the Khmer Rouge and continued to support them even after the Vietnamese kicked the KR out of power exposed their crimes to the world. They invaded Vietnam as punishment and got their asses handed to them. China and the USA continued to argue that the KR hold its UN seat despite not holding power and massive crimes.
nah we knew that already

hmmm depends on the amount of people around and I guess if they aren't over 6'4" I would probably loudly call them a fucking jackass and that's it as like others have said, I wouldn't want to catch a charge over a lineup.
depending on the person, I think it's best to say assertively "excuse me, the line begins back there" while squinting and pointing
Adding to what others have said in their great answers, this is an impossible question to truly answer. Was it "necessary"? Well, it happened, need is hard to extrapolate from that. Have there been any societies that arose without any trace of slavery and survived to the modern day intact? Possibly. But unfortunately there are still millions of slaves worldwide which I am certain allows for a lot of surplus value siphoning that props up many civilizations.
No, but here are my tips, I feel my time management skills came from being forced to navigate bad city transit as a young child alone.
- Get a watch and look at it a lot. Time yourself doing various things, especially meditating. Soon enough you will be able to naturally 'know' when 15 minutes has passed. I give myself 22 minutes to get ready in the morning and I basically know what sort of delays could arise and I make time for them and adjust if I'm taking too long doing a certain thing.
- When possible, use your voice. As in the old adage "don't let your mouth write a check your ass can't cash". If you are not totally sure if you can mitigate delays, adjust the time you tell people you will be arriving and give yourself more time or warn people you may be late as soon as you know. Obviously, for certain things the arrival time is not negotiable.
- Try not to rely on others when possible, including public transit, cars, etc. Also of course not always possible, but generally walking and biking are less prone to delays. Use map apps constantly.
He was just kind of bad at management. He didn't see the importance of computers and didn't have good policies to reverse the stagnation.
