Lost a bet so I have to get my kids a non-Nintendo system. At this point, is there good reason to go with Xbox over PS5 (or vice versa)? in c/gaming@level-up.zone

For kids I’d get a series S and a game pass subscription and let them go to town. Xbox is inferior to PS5 in terms of exclusive games but the bargain you get out of the series S and a game pass sub can’t be beat.
