I'm anti-authoritian, anti-capitalist, and leftist. I'm critical of all Colonialism and Imperialism, regardless of what country is the perpetrator. That goes for Russia, China, America, and every other country. I will always be anti-war and anti-genocide. I will also always advocate for policies that improve the material conditions of everyone. The Democratic Campaign tacking to the right, instead of popular progressive policies, at the expense of alienating their own base is by far the major reason for Harris losing this election. Their terrible campaign strategy is responsible for the loss of millions in turnout.
He's right. He put together a well constructed argument for his position and you simply ignored all of it.
Harris ran a failed strategy of moving to the right and 'business as usual' when people want actual progressive policies that will address their material needs.
Neoliberalism will always move to the right and normalize fascist ideology over improving the livelyhood of the working class. Progressive policies are popular with Republican voters too, that's the correct way to fracture the Republican base into voting Democrat.
Conceding to right-wing policies and disinformation, like on immigration, only alienates more of the Democratic base while bolstering Republican voters support for the Republican party.

I voted for Harris and told others to do so too. Doesn't change the fact that it was her campaign strategy that was responsible for the loss of millions in voter turnout. All the evidence and polling show that running on popular progressive policies that represent a change and improve the material conditions of the American public was the right way to boost voter turnout, the fact that she instead went to the right was a calculated decision that completely failed.
That's not how a genocide works. Israel has been obstructing any permanent ceasefire the entire time. Israel is only interested in continuing the genocide and Settler Colonialism.
This is a Genocide
- De-Gaza: A Year of Israel’s Genocide and the Collapse of World Order - Euro-Med Monitor Report see Chapter 2 and 3
On 26 January 2024, the ICJ said that it was plausible that Israel had breached the Genocide Convention. As an emergency measure, it ordered Israel ensure that its army refrained from genocidal acts against Palestinians.
The ICJ reported, as part of its decisions in March and May, that the situation in Gaza had deteriorated and that Israel had failed to abide by its order in January.
So, when we look at the actions taken, the dropping of thousands and thousands of bombs in a couple of days, including phosphorus bombs, as we heard, on one of the most densely populated areas around the world, together with these proclamations of intent, this indeed constitutes genocidal killing, which is the first act, according to the convention, of genocide. And Israel, I must say, is also perpetrating act number two and three — that is, causing serious bodily or mental harm, and creating condition designed to bring about the destruction of the group by cutting off water, food, supply of energy, bombing hospitals, ordering the fast evictions of hospitals, which the World Health Organization has declared to be, quote, “a death sentence.” So, we’re seeing the combination of genocidal acts with special intent. This is indeed a textbook case of genocide.
More than 800 scholars of international law and genocide have signed a public statement arguing that the Israeli military may be committing genocidal acts against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip as the total siege and relentless airstrikes continue to inflict devastation on the occupied territory.
An independent United Nations expert warned Monday that "Israel's genocidal violence risks leaking out of Gaza and into the occupied Palestinian territory as a whole" as Western governments, corporations, and other institutions keep up their support for the Israeli military, which stands accused of grave war crimes in the Gaza Strip and West Bank.
Our documentation encompasses over 500 incitements of violence and genocidal incitement, appearing in the forms of social media posts, television interviews, and official statements from Israeli politicians, army personnel, journalists, and other influential personalities.

Free Palestine was not a disinformation campaign. The Harris campaign decided not to run with that message despite all the evidence that it would significantly increase voter turnout. Nor was it the only mistake of the campaign. It's only a small part of the reason for why Democrats lost millions in voter turnout. Economic issues was the main impact by far. They did not run on progressive policies that are popular and address the material conditions that affect everyday Americans.

We know that Biden's/Harris' 2024 Campaign failed to produce enough turnout to win against Fascism. What could they have campaigned on to improve turnout? Universal healthcare is one of the many popular progressive policies, popular for both Democratic and Republican voters, that they could have ran on but decided not to.

Yeah, the concentration camps will absolutely extend to any legal immigrants, and even people that look 'immigrant passing'. (Not white immigrants like from Canada or Europe of course, it's all racially motivated). I won't be surprised if Trump begins to deport political enemies
In the same polls Americans support deportations but also legalization of immigrants in about equal measure.

Republicans have primed Americans into thinking illegal immigrants are criminals bringing in crime and drugs into the country. Which is completely fabricated and untrue. However, since Biden, Democrats have failed to counter message and instead adopted the right wing on immigration. That's the entire reason we see this contradiction. A genuine counter message would be popular. And it's essential considering that Trump is going to start mass deportations, which means concentration camps for millions of Americans
Actually, looking back I think I have you confused with someone else. My apologies. I think we've only had some minor disagreements in the past. I'll happily retract my last statement, I don't see any defense of Israel or it's actions in your history.
I'm glad you also agree that International intervention is needed to end this genocide, I 100% agree
Do you also agree that Israel was founded on the ethnic cleansing of Palestine, which has always been fundamental to Zionism? That Israel is an Apartheid State? That Zionism is not Judaism and by no means represents all Jewish people? Are you in support of a One-State Solution where both Israelis and Palestinians have equal rights under a new Secular government?
If so I admit I completely had the wrong idea about you and I'm happy to be corrected. I appreciate everyone who stands up for human rights
Are we including the effects of Global Capitalism? On top of mortality from global poverty, it's hard to tally all the deaths from capitalist Imperialism, Colonialism, and Neo-colonialism.
If one starts from the assumption that extreme poverty is the natural state of humanity, then it may appear as good news that only a fraction of the global population lives in extreme poverty today. However, if extreme poverty is a sign of severe social dislocation, relatively rare under normal conditions, then it should concern us that - despite many instances of progress since the middle of the 20th century - such dislocation remains so prevalent under contemporary capitalism. Depending on the subsistence basket one uses to measure poverty, as of 2008, between 200 million and 1.21 billion people live in extreme poverty (Moatsos, 2017, Moatsos, 2021; see also our discussion in Appendix VI).18 While direct comparisons with the wage data are difficult because of the variety of baskets used, this suggests that under contemporary capitalism hundreds of millions of people currently live in conditions comparable to Europe during the Black Death (Figure 4, Figure 5), the catastrophes induced by the American genocides (Figure 7) and the slave trade (Figure 9), or famine-ravaged British India (Figure 11). To the extent there has been progress against extreme poverty in recent decades, it has generally been slow and shallow.
Blaming minorities will not solve anything. It's sad to see this on here. The Harris campaign decided not to break from Biden on Israel despite all the evidence that it would significantly increase voter turnout. Nor was it the only mistake of the campaign. This was only a small part of the reason for why Democrats lost millions in voter turnout. Economic issues was the main impact by far. They chose to not run on progressive policies that are popular and address the material conditions that affect everyday Americans. Progressive policies that are also popular with Republican voters and would've instead fractured the Republican base and bring more people to get out and vote Democrat.
