Initially I had just asked for shared care, but they wanted another appointement with a psychiatrist first and then he said it makes most sense for them to take over full care instead.

I had essentially the same thing happen. I got a private diagnosis and had to pay for thw titration period, but after getting that the NHS then took over care again so I don't have to pay anymore.

Is it really gaslighting if it's essentially true?

I also can't remember the maths, but iirc the -1/12 value is based on a faulty assumption somewhere in the calculation (probably dividing by 0 at some point)

You're probably gonna hate this, but I think it actually matters how you add them up. Cuz think if you add 0 + 1 + 2 - 1 + 3 - 2 + 4... that pattern will always be positive. (And this is assuming we're only using integers)

I mean it kinda makes sense, someone who doesn't think that the process of thought is useful not thinking they could make any kind of error.
