QC is a shitty, shitty MTX based hero shooter. It has literally nothing to do with Quake outside of having the IP attached to it. Go play an actual Quake game. I recently had a LAN party with a variety of age groups from Z to boomer and I'm just as good at Q3 as I used to be... 2 or 3 games in and it all came back like riding a bike. The Gen Z kid was talking mad shit about being really good at shooters like the latest COD and Fortnite and I spanked the shit out of him.
