I want to live in your reality.

Yes and, labor unions have foregone bonuses in moments like that. The working class has had to pry those bonuses back.

I don't think contracts are as rigid as most people would imagine. Especially if the rank and file vote not to collect on the bonus.

The math do be mathing though.

That's the fault of the democratic party. They know the level of education the population holds.

Furthermore, I think this is an ideological issue. Liberalism isn't working anymore.

Yeah, the average proletariat. I still have hope for us but, this is accurate.

Regrettably most of these people saw an avenue they thought would benefit them economically.

They didn't vote with their brains, they voted with their wallet and based on what they've heard.

I understand the poster may be very emotional because of the election. Yet, This strikes me as incredibly reductive.

I think she lost because, she represents the continuation of the current administration. People want to break from the status quo, even if that means harming society to do it.

The dems need a left wing populist, asap.

Or I'd imagine, if the bonuses were part of the hypothetical collective bargaining agreement's verbage, as an entitlement.

This comment spoke to me. I'm in the trades as well. I vote blue because, its further left than I can get from the red party.

Best of luck. We will need it.

Riley: Oh, yes, the victim! At what point does personal responsibility become a factor in this equation?

Dubois: I don't think that's--

Riley: I see piss coming, I move.

Huey: mmm

Riley: She saw piss coming, she stayed.

Dubois: Yes, she did, but--

Riley: And why should I have to miss out on the next R. Kelly album! Just for that?!

I guess, I don't get the opportunity to ride the bus as often as I would like.

Sure, I guess more social friction will solve the issue.

I'd say getting drunk could also be a cultural thing.

Beating your wife? I could not see as a cultural thing.
