They made the claim, they should back it up.

Again, I strongly dislike Musk, but I've only read testimonies that he knows his rockets. Give me counterproof, please! Any fuel for the musk fanboy tears is worth it. But I want it to be true, not just bashing for the sake of bashing

Not a musk fan in the slightest, can't stand the man... but do you have any proof he actually has no clue about rockets? Easy to make the claim, but I'd love to see it backed up.

Not saying I'm a fan of that exact behaviour, but a lot of the tech behind the scenes is driven by passionate Foss ppl :)

I often roll my eyes when I see fear and doom mongering about privacy, but hey, the other side of the coin is equally annoying (people over sharing every single thing they do online :))

Lemmy in general has a hard-on for google/windows/non-Foss hate and extreme privacy :) Double edged sword imo, it's probably what makes lemmy great, but the whole shtick also becomes old fast :)

Personally I'll stick to my Google assistance, windows gaming pc and limited privacy (anonimity to a reasonable degree, almost no pictures of myself or my family on public social media).

Life is quite stress-free that way tbh :)

Sms is a 20+y old standard. Could just be sending smoke messages, it would be equally secure and feature rich...

No worries. Thx for your thoughtful reply. I understand your point now and certainly don't disagree with it.

Pretty normal where I live tbh. Kids use each other's names for each other 99% of the time. It would be ultra weird to use "brother/sister" in daily speech. That's how it's written in shitty books and TV novellas over here tbh...

Crazy. I figured the reason Belgians are an outlier from their neighbours is due to their fried potato addiction. So it's not that. Crazy

Fair enough. Even if I like cod, I'll still bitch about the campaign this time around. It's not original and not exciting at all. I still don't regret getting it for the mp/zombies.

Complaining is in human nature :p

Why mindless? Why can't I enjoy a multi-player arcade shooter without being called mindless?

I almost exclusively play AAA games, with the occasional indie in between. The indies I play are basically all the famous ones that got really big.

It's my entertainment, my time. Why call me mindless? The only issue Lemmy has, this whole "rebel without a cause" attitude against everything that is mainstream :)

A friend of mine is a top level director on a recent AAA game that wasn't very well received. I can assure you, he was very passionate about his game.

Sounds about how long it took me. Was a pretty shitty campaign tbh. No cool big over the top action scenes like in previous mw games. By far the worst campaign in recent memory.

Never watched the movie, but the book made me thoroughly fear a post apocalyptic society. Tlou or Twd looks like a visit to Disneyland in comparison.
