Oh, weird. I thought OP was referring mostly to morality changes, like taking out ableist/racist language or something. Why the hell would you retcon the setting like that? Do they really think people don't understand that cell phones haven't always existed?

Teamfight Tactics. My brain loves how fiddly and synergistic it is, and the lack of any narrative arc means that even if I get burned out, I can come back to it any time and not feel like I've missed/forgotten anything. Plus it plays on either desktop or mobile, and I use both extensively. Also fun to play while high or sober, which is great.
Dawncaster on mobile. Again, fiddly and synergistic with no need to pay attention to the story and the ability to drop it for long periods of time and come back with no downside.
