He can run 60 miles per hour, so I’d say he could definitely run across the deck of the ship and jump down on top of you before the ship has time to sink. And with armor on he weighs around 1000 pounds so if he jumps on you you’re SUPER dead. I’d say your best bet is to escape the ship by helicopter because he can only jump about 3 meters high, but on second thought he’d probably just rip out chunks of the ship to throw them at your helicopter and crash it. So what you really need is a thin piece of plywood painted to look like the rest of the deck, covering a hole that goes straight down into the ocean. His weight of 1000 pounds would break straight through and drown him, with the added bonus that if you REALLY needed to you could probably walk right over it without issue so he wouldn’t get suspicious of it. (Depending on how heavy you are) and you could spend your week of prep time trying out different plywood and paint options to find one that you can walk on but has no chance of holding him up.

I’ve been playing ashen (a soulslike game that’s actually amazing despite me never hearing of it before this week) and my character is a great fighter, but I have guns in real life AND my house is on stilts so I have a good vantage point. I’d probably spend my preparation week playing ashen, and then on the day of the fight I’d just sit on my roof with a rifle until he comes within visible range and take him out. Yes his dodges have i-frames, but there’s no telegraph to firing a gun, he’d have to see my finger moving from like 200 yards away and know exactly how far I have to pull the trigger before the gun fires. Even if he gets lucky and dodges one or two bullets there’s just no way he makes it close enough to throw a spear at me. And since there’s no ritual stones irl he wouldn’t come back.
