Duval is a very purple county that flips often. There is an active voter base here. Making generalizations about a city with a million people, let alone one of the most populous states in the country doesn't help anything and only makes you look like a dumbass

Sweet, thanks!

Commenting on your comment not because I expect you to have them or anything, it's just the top comment so hopefully someone sees this. I know there's a handful of links out there to browse instances. Are there any that can see who's defederated with who/ which instances are federated with the most instances? I had another account on a .ml domain instance but they got purged with a bunch of others a couple of weeks ago. I use my lemmy.world account because it has the most-ish reach for finding new communities and whatnot

I didn't believe you but yeeeeeesh. Lots of self righteous penises ITT. If people buy an expensive hard drive, it should work. Not everyone knows everything there is to know about data storage, have a little grace people

Ground white pepper should do the trick if you have some. It's 99% heat and 1% pepper flavor so it would be a good stand in for horseradish. My brain first went to ground ginger but it won't really be a good sub for horseradish. Though it may taste good given the other ingredients. If you don't have white pepper, I'd just up the cayenne. It doesn't have that nostril burning quality to it but it'll be spicy nonetheless

A lot of their stuff has to do with the separation of church and state, not specifically using the bible to point out republican hypocrisy

Sure, you could point out their hypocrisy using the bible. It won't make them reconsider their position, but you can do it. I dont see what that has to do with trans healthcare though

The party of small government and fiscal responsibility hard at work

Yeah I thought this was old news. I'm a licensed medical professional in Florida and I received an email from the department of health about these changes 3 or 4 months ago. The one about refusing care on moral grounds is newer, about a month or two old. This has been a thing for a good while now

Such a cutie! Reminds me of my void

God dammit. Time to switch browsers again

I'm digging anarchists' more hands on, pragmatic approach to politics. I finished The Conquest of Bread a couple of weeks ago and I'm currently working my way through Bullshit Jobs. Any suggestions about theory, praxis, mutual aid, etc. would be appreciated

I think lasers are pretty wack when you think about them through this lens. A small, wand-like object in your hand can make light appear from seemingly nowhere. If it's powerful enough it can set things on fire or blind people. Not to mention larger ones like laser cutters or the LLD, used to destroy missiles midflight. Thats sure to blow some feudal peasant minds

Like many others, I used reddit as a link aggregator to keep up with news and current events. I'm never going back to reddit so I'm using ino reader as my news app and was hoping to get some suggestions on good sources to keep up on news, politics, etc. Any suggestions on sites I should check out to stay informed?
