I would stick with 4TB in your case.

Just got my first M1 Air. Is it worth getting an apple care+? I've heard apple products are built to last so I'm not sure if I should spend more money in getting one. in c/apple@hardware.watch

I believe that Apple Care protects you against physical damage rather than malfunctioning.

I've been wearing my SE for almost 3 years. The battery life is still 30-40 hours with 85% of health.
