Hear me out. The beginning of game of thrones, everyone raved about. Then they ran out of source material, and it went down hill from there. 3BP is a completed series, so I'm hopeful yet

They ran out of source material but also rushed to kill off the series so that they could go work on (and quickly be fired from) Star Wars.

If Dumb and Dumber are involved with it, I don't want anything to do with that.

It's not just they ran out of source material, it's that the stuff they made up suggested they didn't really understand the source material in the first place; GoT was great in the early seasons despite its showrunners, not because of them. The source material was the only thing keeping it together, and once they lost that they had nothing.

When was the last time Netflix released a good show?

Probably the first season of Stranger Things.

Beef was pretty good but that was an A24 production

Could be worse - they could let Lauren Hissrich go full Witcher on the series.

I watched The Chair all the way though before realising those hacks were involved. Got to be careful!
