So, do you feel nostalgic for a format? Are you looking forward to a release? Heard any exciting news? Want to show us your shelves? Then post away.

I genuinely don't know what their criteria is for releasing anything. Does a boutique Blu-ray releaser have to step in? Because Barbarian would sell like.hot cakes if released and I imagine someone like Arrow has been sniffing around the rights.

Is it really to push people to subscribe to their streaming service because all they seem to be doing there is pushing people away.

There must be some calculation that shows this approach is best for their bottom line, I just can't figure out what it is.

I've noticed that if you want a physical release of a streaming show, Etsy has you covered. Quite pricey though and obviously illegal.

Oh there's plenty of,. apparently, Chinese sellers on eBay who will hook you up too.

This is how I picked up the Willow series (which I enjoyed but is now deleted from all of existence), the last couple seasons of Silicon Valley, etc.

Speaking of which, there should be a law that if a show is permanently removed in order to offset taxes, it should automatically become part of the public domain.

It's a good point - at that point the public purse has basically paid for it, after all.
