That Wojack is brilliant.

Also, I wonder what physical shape the uncle is in? I'm betting terrible.

[–] Garbanzo@lemmy.world 81 points 10 months ago

What shape? Alpha, obviously. Pointy up top and progressively wider as you go down.

Honestly, why would you unironically watch content from someone who doesn't believe in depression?

[–] UNWILLING_PARTICIPANT@sh.itjust.works 49 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Yeah I could see a teenager falling for it, but a 40+ 💀 shows you've learned nothing from your brief time on the strife ball

[–] Duamerthrax@lemmy.world 27 points 10 months ago

25+ years of blaming your short comings on other people and any lucky break was totally a master move of skill on your part.

The rise and fall of this grift has been such a gift to me. It has introduced some of the goofiest characters and goofiest feuds. I have had so many delightful conversations stemming from this shit. What a time to be alive.

[–] breadsmasher@lemmy.world 49 points 10 months ago (1 children)

this grift has fallen? seems alive and kicking to me

[–] spacecowboy@sh.itjust.works 22 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I still hear chuds at work talk about his “wisdom”.

[–] lledrtx@lemmy.world 8 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Really? What line of work are you in, if you don't mind me asking.

[–] spacecowboy@sh.itjust.works 13 points 10 months ago (3 children)

I am in the electricity business. ⚡️⚡️

One of my childhood friends fell for the red pill etc shuck and invariably reaped nothing but degradation. It has been frustrating, but there really is nothing like having a living example of "there but for the grace of God go I" in your life

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 67 points 10 months ago (6 children)

Yeah jokes on him 40 year old polyamorous women pull like crazy

We are friends with a 53 year old widow, she is physically unremarkable, chubby, has kids in college. She has sex with multiple guys a week and details her adventures to my wife over text. These guys range from 25 to 44 yrs old. Women will always get laid more than men. If they want it, they can have it.

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 27 points 10 months ago

Yeah I’m a 29 year old woman and there’s a woman in her 50s that I’ve been making out with. It’s kinda weird that her kids are my age, but she’s hot af so… and yeah she’s chubby, but it works for her.

That looks like 4 pixels antialiased, yet there's so much meaning in them.

[–] Chekhovs_Gun@lemmy.world 11 points 10 months ago

There are a lot of 40+ women on dating apps.

[–] Noedel@lemmy.world 17 points 10 months ago (2 children)

Most of them wouldn't be into mysogenists though

[–] VaultBoyNewVegas@lemmy.world 12 points 10 months ago

Absolutely. The older you get the less bullshit you're willing to put up with when looking for a partner.

It could have been fine if he didn't have a "change the rules because I'm losing" mentality.

Andrew Taint

My wife and I are doing a semi open thing too. It works for us because we aren't into all the same things and recognize that we would be more fulfilled

It could have worked if he was 30 or rich, stupid uncle.

Also if he worked proactively with his partner to make sure they were both doing it for the right reasons and their kid was taken into account and made sure they all three came out of it happier

It's almost like people who work together lead better, more fulfilling lives
