I wonder if keeping a given population alive and well will just be a better choice for all shareholders.

It will reduce healthcare costs and also generate billions in revenue for tech and pharma corporations.

Would caring for ill and dying people, and having to invest public schooling for children be more costly and resource consuming than just investing into making the current population undying?

I have no idea, but I just found that quite interesting to consider. If this is true than there will be more incentive for accessible longevity technology for everyone.
