Which of these sullen, stoic side characters gets your ire most? Main characters Spock, Tuvok, and T'Pol left out for obvious reasons.

Oh it’s 100% Solok. The guy made his entire senior staff learn and practice baseball just to antagonize a former colleague.

Soval was the face of the High Command’s punchable decisions, but he ended up being a real one in Season Four. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CpIPixWaj1E

Fucking love that scene. Gives me goosebumps and warm fuzzies all at once.

No even a former colleague, Sisko was the guy he used to bully in school.

It's Solok and it ain't close.

Solok woke up the day he went to DS9 and chose all the violence that logic would allow.

Of these, the answer is definitely Solok, but I would like to put forward, Tolaris, the V'tosh ka'tur that assaulted T'Pol in ENT s1e17.

Also, I better not see anyone saying T'Rina. She and Saru are so cute 🥺

Solok, no contest. The others were various levels of asshat, solok was 1000% cunt

Certainly expected. I was more curious to see if there any outliers. Might consider turning this into an elimination board.

I never liked the dude on Voyager. Not Tuvok, but the other Vulcan... I can't remember his name. But he was way more open about being a dick with a superiority complex than any other Vulcan I can think of, including Solok.

Alas, poor Vorik... I didn't know him very well.

Ackshually, the quote is

Alas poor Vorik... I didn't know him very Horatio.

Can we get an honorable mention for Spock's brother?

[–] ummthatguy@lemmy.world 7 points 11 months ago (3 children)

Sybok is a menace in his own right. I plan to add him and Valeris in the next round (minus Solok the obvious favorite)

[–] VindictiveJudge@startrek.website 5 points 11 months ago (2 children)

Add in Sokel for the next round. He was T'Lyn's former captain.

[–] samus12345@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

Sokel made the right decision. You notice that being with humans has actually been a positive experience for her.

[–] ummthatguy@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

That's fair. By that measure, I should also include Krinn from Picard season 3.

[–] MajorHavoc@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Nice. I didn't realize there were do many awful Vulcans. This has been enlightening.

[–] TotallyNotSpez@lemm.ee 7 points 11 months ago

Solok got my blood boiling.

[–] tacosanonymous@lemm.ee 7 points 11 months ago

New Sarek.

I liked that they got an actor with a very punchable face to play him.

Solok out here catching strays that should have been meant for Tolaris.
