KotoR 💯
I'm just here to ask, what game should I get next? Ps5
Bioshock and Doom Eternal main campaign and ancient gods part 1
Uhhh... HALO 1 OR 3 HANDS DOWN
Re3(ps1) when Raccoon City gets nuked
Hades
!Not the actual ending, but the final boss in the first run being your father and him being absolutely badass sealed that game as one of my top favourites of all time!<
Planescape Torment.
Do unspeakable acts of terror. Split your conscience from your body to escape your fate.
Be the body left behind with no memory. Make friends, piece together what happened, pursue your conscience to the world of nightmares, watch it slaughter all your friends. Again. And again.
Don't give up and eventually defeat it, forcing it to merge with you and become mortal again.
Ress your loyal friends and go happily to Hell to battle armies of demons and devils in an eternal Blood War, because that is the deserved consequence of the crimes you were running from.
The entire nomad ending of cyberpunk 2077, from hijacking the militek drill all the way to riding off into the sunset on a hovertank.
RemindMe! 24 hours "Read this thread for game suggestions"
Bioshock Infinite!
One of the only times I've ever finished a game over the course of a weekend - wept like a baby at the end.
"Welcome to Dubai" is pretty badass, despite what happens at the end of that game (Spec Ops:the line)
Conker's Bad Fur Day: Final mission starts with a Matrix parody, and ends with an Alien style battle, then you become king
Just Cause 2: riding nukes disabling them to stop the bad guy, then killing him
Banjo Kazooie and DK64 were good from my memory, but probably not the best
I appreciated the final twist of Borderlands 1. The battle itself was anticlimactic but the humor of what was in the vault left an impression.
Dishonored for sure especially high chaos run
I might be in the minority, but aside from limping/crawling down the electric hallway, I thought mgs4 had such an epic ending. Maybe a little over the top and long, but I loved it.
What are you talking about? His trudge down the microwave corridor with the epic music playing was one of the most badass parts of the game! Dude was frying himself alive but still pushing through to save the day.
I will definitely agree it was cool and badass, but having to actively do something during that part instead of just sitting back and watching was obnoxious. I hate those slow moving sections in games that they force you to do when they could just be cut scenes.
Inside >!Oh you were a lil weak guy all game? how'd you like to be GODZILLA AND BUST OUTTA HERE!<
Gears of War 2 had a pretty bad ass finale, making you feel like a badass, not kicking the shit out of you.
Somebody is gonna say Red Dead Redemption because because you go in Blaze of glory which is awesome but my favorite was Dead Space.
The whole game captures the horror genre but the ending against that big tentacle monster was awesome because you powered up unlike other games where you get cool shit AFTER the final boss. But the boss itself felt gigantic in scale and really immersed me.
I say Red Dead but because of Jacks revenge. I loved how that ended
doom eternal base campaign
They really nailed the lore with this one. Succinct, mysterious, and extremely interesting, It was the type of thing you could pay no attention to or watch an hour long YouTube video on.
And hands down the best "you have to fight the devil and the devil is you" implementation I've ever seen
thats not the one theyre talking about, theyre talking about icon of sin
i heard bad things about the dlc so ive never touched it
Modern Warfare 2 when you throw a knife into Shepards eye. Not the other Modern Warfare 2 where you unceremoniously and anticlimactically snipe a guy
Halo Reach.
"OBJECTIVE: SURVIVE"
First mission: Lone Wolf - an introduction to your character as a badass stand alone soldier that don't need no team
Last mission: Lone Wolf - you're alone cause all your homies died.
I mean, Halo CE also had a bad ass ending . . . the run in the Hog and the Sarge and the Covey looking on as the Pillar explodes.
Pretty bad-ass.
Don't Fear The Reaper, Cyberpunk 2077
Arasaka, a powerful and understandably feared corporation.
Nothing left to lose, V raids it solo. Morgan Blackhand was able to drive away Adam Smasher. V fucking kills Adam. And solos the entire corporation alone.
A blaze of glory indeed.
Even "The Easy Way Out" made it clear this was not a game bent on giving you a happy outcome... it feels unfair to compare other games to what 2077 has become.
I somehow made all the wrong choices when finally deciding to Meet Hanako at Embers and ended up going up to the roof of my apartment building and blowing my brains out. Kinda turned me off of the game.
John fighting his way up a mountain to get revenge in RDR2 was cool as shit especially with the music. Huge improvement over RDR1s ending.
I wouldn't say huge improvement. Rdr1 ending was gut wrenching. I agree rdr2 was able to surpass it.
Honestly 1's ending sticks more firmly in my mind than 2. I think you could argue for either one's ending. Then again, why pit two bad bitches against one another?
Portal 2.
I love the little glint and realization of what you have to do and you think, no way in hell
Such an amazing game, so much so that it’s almost difficult to watch let’s plays because for every cool dialogue, realization, or joke they find there’s another that they miss or don’t understand.
Mass Effect 2. Suicide mission is just peak Mass Effect.
To bad the boss was kind of a let down. Love the mission hate the boss.
Mass Effect 1 as well, Shepard emerging from the wreckage.
I was trying to come up with a pun about how bad the Mass Effect 3 ending was, but couldn’t even write anything funny about it.
