Just switched to Mint a month ago and I was already having some regrets while traveling. Looks like I’ll be making another switch in December. Google Fi maybe?
Digital Nomads
I heard Google Fi kicks you off after 6 months, iirc. I switched to Tello and am happy with it. Exactly what I needed and just 5 bucks/mo
I assume there's no way to know if this change is also going to hit Ultra Mobile -- both Mint and Ultra Mobile were purchased by T-Mobile at the same time.
I imagine you would know or will know soon since Mint hasn't published anything about the change on their site but they did send out the marketing email. So Ultra might do the same. I just don't get why they don't offer both kinds of plans (the old and the new one). But I already switched carriers and started a chargeback, though not sure it will work.
So annoyed by this. This was the one reason I was on mint mobile! I'm lucky my 12-month plans ends in December, because I'm already looking for a new carrier.
that’s why I got Att. For Mexico.
Google Fi and you don't need to worry about it.
