Stuttering in Jellyfin (alien.top)

Having issues with the Jellyfin client. Won't play a 4K video without stuttering using Direct Play. Transcoding to a lower resolution seems to fix this issue. I know the laptop is capable because it can play 4K video in VLC just fine. It's got a 11800H and a RTX 3050 Ti.

Could it be your network? The video does get transcoded on the server, then it's streamed to your computer so it needs less bandwidth than an unencoded stream?

Ffmpeg logs and maybe head to the jellyfin forums, there are a lot of helpful people there.
