There's a pack (flock?) of these in my town that invade people's backyards. Pretty cool but they are a bit of a menace and apparently louder than you'd expect

They're actually delicious, had a roasted one in Vietnam

There's a few feral flocks of peacocks in Orlando. They're beautiful but they're also loud and poop everywhere.

There are apparently a lot of different rumours spreading around about this peacock and possibly others. The closest "zoo" is about a 15 minute car ride away.

A nearby park used to have them as part of a petting zoo, but that closed down before 2019.

One of the rumours is apparently that they hide out in the brush in the city outskirts and have been around this whole time.

Some theorize they they are all across Ontario, escaped from 80's zoos. They can allegedly survive winter if they have shelter like a shed.

Some theorized that they must be escaping from a private owner who never reveals themselves. This is apparently the "neighbourhood peacock ".
