Liberals unironically will and do believe this is bad because obviously those schools will teach CPC propaganda about how the school was build by the CPC after the US blew up all the other schools.

maybe you could get the libs to build schools, too. let the free marketplace of schools sort it out. school cold war. every child a school

I laughed reading this because it reminded me about how bad the US was at building anything in Iraq and Afghanistan. At one point US contractors charged almost 50 million dollars to build a single gas station and it never actually got completed. To be fair, US contractors are just as bad when hired to build infrastructure in the US.

I remember some german army fat cat going "Our job is to destroy things and kill people" when they asked him as to why they failed so hard in afghanistan and he got ousted for that shit and it was whole big controversy

I genuinely could never shake the feeling they fired the one guy who was aware of what their actual job was

The school voucher system is exactly that. It's destroying public education in the US already.

The exa(r)ms race.

propaganda is when you recite a sequence of events that actually happened

In promoting mutually beneficial cooperation, we should raise awareness about human beings sharing a community of common destiny. A country should accommodate the legitimate concerns of others when pursuing its own interests; and it should promote common development of all countries when advancing its own development. Countries should establish a new type of global development partnership that is more equitable and balanced, stick together in times of difficulty, both share rights and shoulder obligations, and boost the common interests of mankind.

is-this insidious CEE CEE PEE propaganda?

I don't see anything about white man's burden to civilize savage Iraqis by bombing them, so yes, clearly SISIPI brainwashing.

Pick one to write your western media article about today!

A) Schools will be used to teach Chinese Propaganda

B) Schools will be used to house political prisoners and/or cheap labour.

C) Secret Debt Trap!

D) All of the Above

[–] AmerikaLosesWW3@lemmygrad.ml 2 points 1 year ago

Debt trap huh, Amerikkka wished they were in the position to debt trap and exploit the hell out of Iraq. They can't project any harder.

1000 schools in 2 years.

Instantly reminded me of polish program "1000 schools for 1000 anniversary of Poland" (in total it was 1423 schools built in 14 years).

[–] 201dberg@lemmygrad.ml 21 points 1 year ago (1 children)

How long did it take the US to blow up the original schools?

Most of them probably in a first month of most intensive bombings.

[–] lemat_87@lemmygrad.ml 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

By the way, I heard that in the last 3 decades in Poland, 7 or 8 hospitals were built and much more than 1000 thousand churches. I have no source, but if someone could confirm that, it would be great summary of current priorities in Poland (aka Wielka Bolzga).

No idea but i wouldn't be surprised, a lot of hospitals is being privatised or liquidated. Ambulances work quite decent depending on where you live, but after they get you to the hospital you can wait many hours even for life saving medical attention because lack of doctors. I guess you would get last rites way faster.

China Creates, Usania Destroys.

[–] FanonFan@hexbear.net 27 points 1 year ago (1 children)

China likes to build. The US likes to bomb crap and live in open sewage. This is not a difficult issue.

[–] Tankiedesantski@hexbear.net 12 points 1 year ago

The US likes to bomb crap and live in open sewage.

There used to be this stereotype that Chinese people piss and shit on the street brought up by HK Gusanos and their Westoid masters. I feel like this has disappeared in recent years and I think that some of that is because of the continued inability of western countries to address homelessness leading to an un-ignorable amount of people pissing and shitting in public in the West.

No wonder the chuds support the Empire in Star Wars… at least they’re consistent

[–] Alunyanners@lemmygrad.ml 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

ya but have you considered that supporting the empire is an interesting change rather than "always supporting the good guys"? smdh 😤😤

[–] Shinhoshi@lemmygrad.ml 3 points 1 year ago

Have you considered r/EmpireDidNothingWrong?

But have you considered, yellow man bad?

Silly China you're supposed to bomb Iraq

[–] Owl@hexbear.net 30 points 1 year ago (1 children)

They're clearly not doing it out of the goodness of their hearts, they're just trying to get the achievement.

[–] autismdragon@hexbear.net 13 points 1 year ago

Damn Real Life has some very difficult achievements. This is not a game for completionists. They really need to make it more accessible.
