I don't recall there being a consensus on FOSS status, so i was wondering if there was going to be an initial cost? Or a potentially a price for a pro version so @hariette can continue development on it long-term and be compensated for her work?

Moved from Lemmy to kbin and dying for an app as opposed to a web app. kbin web app works for now but need an app!

Possibly a stupid question as I don’t know anything about making an app or APIs - since Artemis doesn’t use kbin’s API yet, can you still post comments through Artemis? Or is it read-only for now?

Is the app dead? All I get for months now is an error.

Artemis could not talk to instance.

And when I click on my account it ends to getting stuck in a loop just showing the logo.

Artemis uses its own API which scrapes kbin. This is only temporary until an official kbin API is available.

Will this be transposable onto an official API, or will there have to be a silly amount of rewrite to make it compatible when an API is available?

Started using the app today and it looks pretty awesome. Could use some small UI improvements, but I'm sure that will be finetuned later

Just a question because I'm still new to kbin - can you pin threads to the top of a magazine yet? Is there a way to pin a FAQ thread where people can ask questions and get them answered by the devs, as well as current alpha/beta testers? This FAQ was super helpful, and it would be nice to continue building on that where everyone can get easy access.

I really hope I am not asking a question that has already been answered somewhere. I have looked in the FAQ so if I missed something, I apologize. How do you block a user from the Artemis application? There are a few spammers that I would love to stop showing on my feed. :)
