We need to bring them back, lots of things are $1.xx, and very few things are under $1. If anything, we should get rid of the $1 bill and mint more $1 coins.
This sent me down a rabbit hole wondering why I haven't seen one in so long. This in particular was interesting to me:
Because the last time I remember seeing one was as a kid in the 80s at the Army base in Grafenwoehr, Germany - I found it on the floor of the small arcade in the cafeteria there. That was worth 8 video game plays!
What did he expect when using a lossy format like JPEG?
I mean, to be fair, that would apply to any conventional investment too. You don't pay your gas bill with Apple stock. You sell the stock and then pay the bill with the money you sold it for.
