and these are people who consider themselves "progressive". they're a bunch of racist dimwits swallowing the propaganda against china, and when reality proves that propaganda untrue, the free thinking liberal geniuses on reddit say "don't believe your lying eyes". seem like a well adjusted group of people. it's definitely the people newly discovering everything they thought about china was a lie who are brainwashed, and not you, who is repeating bullshit you heard on tv for 30 years.
