Has anyone here had issues with LFTP no longer working running direct from command line.

My user scripts calling lftp no longer function.

Finally i can remove the array, i think it's the main reason my server lags so much (i have shfs using 25% of cpu time)

Been running 7.0 release candidates for what seems like a year now. Rock solid on my hardware and the ZFS functionality is great. I run XFS for “easily replaceable media like movies and TV shows” and ZFS for anything critical.

ZFS Snapshots are amazing and my backup time has gone from 90 minutes to 4 min with snapshot replication.

I think I need to read up on the advantages of zfs… Doesn’t it require huge amounts of RAM?

Only if you’re using data deduplication which is more useful for data centres and such that may have many copies of the same data on the array.

Without that enabled the memory usage is similar to any other file system.

Excited for this but not going to be updating super soon. Just had an array disk go bad and this week was the schedule for my quarterly parity check. Once all those are done and have time to upgrade will go for it and report back.
