There won't be any lockdowns. There won't even be mask mandates.

They're banking masks now because only 'criminal antifa' use masks. Some of the bans have exceptions for health reasons, a lot don't. So, screw people with compromised immune systems, I guess.

Should we realistically be stocking up on any supplies right now? I don't have a lot of disposable money but I'd rather have them now than when they are impossible to source or being price gouged.

Get an envomask pro with extra filters. Maybe get a washlet for your toilet if you're feeling fancy. Get a bag of rice, a bag of beans, and a jar of sauerkraut, especially if you have a pressure cooker to cook the beans. Besides all that I wouldn't bother.

Given the news that's been coming out over the past few months, it does seem very probable that we might have a new pandemic in the near future. It seems like it's only a matter of time before the virus mutates to become directly transmissible between humans. This virus does look to be far more deadly than covid however, which may limit its ability to spread, so it's hard to say how this will actually play out. If you're able, stocking up on some supplies might not be a bad idea. If we're lucky and this thing doesn't spread, you can always consume them, so it's not like you'd be wasting money.
