It looks like the bag is still in and you've already added the milk. That means that when you take the bag out you will have a considerably less full mug of tea than you want. Bag out, THEN milk in. Otherwise all looks to be well.

9/10

Plus if you're using udder milk, it'll make the compost bin stink.

Did you boil a kettle or use a microwave?

If your kettle is boiling, it's too hot!

I sometimes boil and then let it sit for a minute.

Or if I'm feeling really hard I'll just pour it right in like idgaf

not for builders tea, it's designed with boiling water in mind.

Boiling water is largely fine for tea bags, boiling kettles on the other hand represent all kinds of hazards and should probably be done in a fume hood.

I think I missed a joke there didn't I....

Boiling a kettle requires turning that kettle into liquid first.

That's the joke.

And don't forget to unplug them first.

And don't let's get started on boiling chips.

  1. Did you enjoy it? If yes, you’re doing it right.

  2. Did you ignore everyone who disagrees with your way of making tea? If yes, you’re doing it right.

The tea looks about right, not sure about the tiny handle on the mug though.

[–] grrgyle@slrpnk.net 6 points 1 month ago

It is a constant annoyance, thank you for commiserating. It's like a vestigial handle - barely functional.
