Is it possible to combine Active Users and Subscribers in one post instead of two?

[–] freamon@endlesstalk.org 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It's possible, yes. I'm thinking it might be an idea to replace 'Previous Entries' on the Subscribers list with 'Active User Growth' because I'm not sure that section is of much interest to people who view the lists everyday.

I've not done anything about 'Active Users' for the NSFW version of this Community, so I'll experiment with a combined list there first, and see what it produces.

I like previous entries because I might have missed something (I also have the option "Show read posts" off in my Lemmy account, so if I miss something it would be a bit more annoying to check it out.

Could it be added in the middle of the posts perhaps?

[–] freamon@endlesstalk.org 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Oh, okay. I'll leave 'Previous Entries' in then, but I might collapse it under a spoiler tag so the whole post doesn't look too unwieldy (I know not all clients handle spoiler tags, but that's a separate problem)

That is okay for me :)

BTW thanks for your effort! Recently I lost about 200 communities while using a sync service and this community helped me to catch up! (And yeah, previous entries helped me a ton too haha).

When you go to the community page on Memmy there’s a huge button with a heart on it that says “Subscribe” right below the community name.

Found it. It was hiding in the sidebar.

I don't have iOS so can only guess: these options are normally available by clicking the 3 dots in the top corner of a page.

It might be best to ask at !memmy@lemmy.ml
