What, you don't think that institution should be able to bestow divine right to rule on a man who still has the legal power to suspend parliament (or force Australia to choose a new prime minister) whenever he feels like it?
To be honest the constitutional monarchy doesn’t bother me that much, but I do believe the country should be secular and that schools should not be allowed to have a religious character.
Time to also remove bishops from the House of Lords.

Some accountability is better late than never, but just like in politics, changing the head of the pyramid doesn't fix anything. Institutional religion has no place in a modern society.
(people having their own faith, and even congregating to practice a common faith is a different story and as long as they aren't trying to impose their rules on to others or harming anyone, including their own members, there's no issue, but that's not what "The Church" is)
