This is pretty cool, too bad we have so little info on other countries besides the US (Like how the USSR still existed in the Fallout Universe). I think in Tactics there were still guerrila groups in Canada.
nah i respect the choice to not write places they don't know shit about.
Yep! We know Mexico was annexed I believe, so it may have conflicts with the US Army.
Hate for Enclave is not enough. Ever since Fallout aesthetics went into super hard 50's at 3rd game i'm constantly like THERE WASN'T ENOUGH NUKES FFS CHINA YOU SHOULD DROP MUCH MORE
Hahaha, I've always said the Fallout series needs a full lore wipe and reboot.
I mean, it wouldn't be too hard to just ignore the East coast and pretend that 3 and 4 never happened
I still have to dig up my design Bible for Fallout: Great Midwest
Lots of good ideas in there, the Sons of Silence, new and terrifying mutants, one of the companions being a Cyborg Taikonaut
I think it would actually be really good for the series as a whole
Fallout Tactics is my favourite for the lore. BoS are way less PoS than in other games, intelligent deathclaws FTW, Crypt 0 unsubtly explains all the capitalism bad lore straight in the face, you can shoot a lot of racists. Best looking power armour. And that weird moment when paladins guarding the bunker take Psycho for fun, which also inspired me to taking entire game-worth stock of buffout at the same time, but nothing happened.
I think you would be happy with Great Midwest
Took some inspiration from Tactics, in that I wanted vehicles (no tanks, but a big rig would serve as your mobile camp) and the villain would be the Vault-Tec executive board, kidnapping people to harvest their organs so they could live forever
Though, the Executive Vault (or Vault X) would be built under Lake Michigan and you could just dump the lake into it to kill everyone if you were feeling inclined
