I've used these guys in the past.
suretyhome.com
DIY alarm.com setup.
It's been a while since but I used a GoControl 2 panel. Looks like they have new stuff or you can order used on ebay.
I know my Aunt considering going to eufy.
Like why, though, is my thought. They're Amazon. They don't need the money and I can't remember the last time I had to even set our alarm it's contact anyone there for support. I'm really tired of having to dump products after having them setup and integrated. Fuck I hate this shit...
Because capitalism. The shareholders thirst - they will have their returns. Common sense, decency, legality and morality are all roughly shoved aside in service of "line go up".
That's the plan. Get u locked in and jack up the price. Sell hardware at a loss, and make it up on the back end through subscriptions.
They're Amazon. They don't need the money
There's no such thing as enough money for big businesses like Amazon. Always gotta be growing to appease the shareholders.
The alarm monitoring is separate from the cloud service thing.
